In-Person & Telehealth
Why This Is My Passion
I am passionately dedicated to providing evidence-based, compassionate, and individualized support to children, teens, and adults navigating a wide range of life's challenges and mental health concerns. In my experience as a mental health professional and my years practicing as a Licensed Professional Counselor, I have learned and truly believe that effective mental health treatment is not one-size-fits-all. My core philosophy begins with the simple truth that your treatment should be as unique as you are.
My Credentials & Commitment To Clients
I have over 12 years of experience working in the mental health field and I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor for over 5 years. I received my Bachelor's degree from Penn State University in 2013 and my Master's degree in clinical mental health counseling from Waynesburg University in 2018. My comprehensive training, extensive experience, and ongoing commitment to continuing education allow me to thoughtfully tailor our work, ensuring you receive the most effective support possible. Whether you are seeking relief from anxiety, support for a struggling teen, or help to process past experiences, I offer a collaborative and safe space where genuine change and deep healing can begin and take flight. This process starts with acceptance and genuine empathy. I look forward to the privilege of coming alongside you in your journey and working together to help you, or your child discover and achieve healing, growth, and a fulfilling, balanced, and empowered life.
Lifetime Techniques For You & Your Support System
I provide focused support to individuals with chronic symptoms, helping them understand their diagnoses, develop crucial life skills, and plan for long-term management. Furthermore, I offer consultation, psychoeducation, and support to parents, family members, and other support persons-recognizing the importance of the entire support system in the healing and growth process.
Client Centered Approaches I Use
I draw from several evidence-based and relational approaches, including:
Client-Centered Therapy: Ensuring you feel fully heard and respected as the expert on your own life.
CBT & DBT: Providing concrete skills for managing difficult emotions, thoughts, and behaviors.
ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention): Offering highly effective tools for overcoming anxiety and obsessive-compulsive patterns.
Psychodynamic Approaches: Exploring how past experiences might be impacting your present well-being.
